​H.E. Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Kassabi, Chairman of the Boards of the National Competitiveness Center and the Saudi Business Center, expressed his deep appreciation for the leadership's continued support of the private sector following the Cabinet decision of merging the two centers under the new name Saudi Competitiveness & Business Center.

H.E. Al-Kassabi noted that the decision reflects the leadership's commitment to strengthening the institutional ecosystem that supports private sector growth and enhances the Kingdom's global competitiveness. The merger will further streamline business start-up and operational procedures, unify reform efforts, and improve Saudi Arabia's performance in regional and international indices.

Commenting on the Cabinet decision, the Center will continue delivering more than 6,000 government services to the private sector through the unified business platform and its network of 20 branches across 15 cities, in close coordination with government partners to ensure high standards of efficiency and quality.

Minister Al-Kassabi added that merging the two centers will institutionalize channels for identifying and addressing challenges facing businesses, accelerate targeted reforms, and maximize the impact of partnerships with local and international organizations through knowledge exchange and best practices.

He affirmed that the Saudi Competitiveness & Business Center will work collaboratively with the public and private sectors to position the Kingdom among the world's most competitive economies and establish its business environment as a global benchmark for efficient, transparent, and seamless government services.
