24 Projects Opened for Feedback through the Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa

​The National Competitiveness Center's Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, has put forward 24 projects related to economic and development affairs. In cooperation with 17 government bodies, the NCC invites the general public, government entities, and the private sector to express their views and feedback on projects prior to their approval.

The Capital Market Authority has launched a public consultation on a project titled 'Regulatory Framework to Allow Non-Resident Foreign Investors to Invest Directly in Shares Listed on the Main Market.' The project aims to permit direct investment in the main market by all non-resident foreign investors. Public feedback on this project will be accepted until October 31, 2025.

The Center for National Health Insurance has put forward a key project on the Istitlaa platform titled 'Regulation on the Accession of Accredited Health Institutions to the Network of the Center for National Health Insurance.' The aim of the project is to issue a regulatory bylaw directed toward the accredited institutions providing healthcare services or related products. Public feedback on the project is open until October 25, 2025.

The National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plants and Animal Diseases is seeking public feedback on a new regulatory framework titled 'Guidelines for the Registration of Biological Control Agents.' The project aims to regulate, monitor, and track biological control agents throughout the supply chain within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Public consultation on this project will remain open until October 20, 2025.

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has put forward a key project on the Istitlaa platform titled 'Requirements for Funeral Washing Facilities.' This project aims to regulate and organize the construction of mortuary buildings according to the requirements and stipulations of the Saudi Building Code. Public feedback on the project is open until October 13, 2025.

The introduction of draft regulations, publics, and similar projects through the Istitlaa platform serves as an affirmation of enhanced transparency in the legislative environment. In addition, Istitlaa fosters a culture of public participation by enabling citizens, government agencies, and the private sector to contribute their insights and feedback on proposed regulations related to the business environment.
