23 Projects Opened for Feedback through the Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa

The National Competitiveness Center's Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, has put forward 23 projects related to economic and development affairs. In cooperation with 14 government agencies, the NCC invites the general public, government agencies, and the private sector to express their views and feedback on projects prior to their approval.

Key projects presented on the platform include a project titled 'Economic Policies of Civil Aviation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,' developed by the General Authority of Civil Aviation. This project aims to: promote competitiveness; enhance operational efficiency and passenger experience; encourage investment; enable sector growth; ensure fairness and transparency; create job opportunities; ensure compatibility with the best international practices and the general strategic direction outlined in the National Aviation Strategy; and increase the contribution of the sector to the GDP of the national economy. The public can provide feedback on this project through the Istitlaa platform until April 12, 2025.

The General Authority for Competition is seeking public feedback on a new regulatory framework titled 'Guideline to Enhance Competition in the Food Delivery Platform Sector.' This project aims to regulate food delivery platforms activities in accordance with Competition Law, its executive regulations, and relevant rules and instructions. Public consultation on this project will remain open until April 12, 2025.

The Associations Support Fund is seeking public feedback on a new project titled 'Regulations of Association Support.' The project aims to achieve the legislative governance of the services of the Association Support Fund, to ensure legitimacy, and to include all the general provisions for the fund's financial and non-financial services and products, general terms and conditions, and reference to detailed policies. Public consultation on this project will conclude on April 13, 2025.

The National Water Efficiency and Conservation Center is seeking public feedback on a new regulatory framework titled 'Regulations for Training Program Accreditation in the Field of Water Efficiency and Conservation.' This project aims to organize the procedures, standards, conditions, and requirements upon which the National Center for Water Efficiency and Conservation relies on accrediting training programs in the field of water efficiency and conservation offered by accredited training centers and institutes. Public consultation on this project will remain open until April 15, 2025.

The Capital Market Authority is seeking public feedback on a new regulatory framework titled 'Debt Instrument Platform Licensing and Regulatory Framework.' This project aims to develop the regulatory framework for debt instruments offering and investing platforms in them by defining the regulatory requirements for conducting the activity and specifying the licensing requirements to align with relevant developments in the regulatory environment in the Kingdom. Public consultation on this project will remain open until April 23, 2025.

The introduction of draft regulations, by-laws, and similar projects through the Istitlaa platform serves as an affirmation of enhanced transparency in the legislative environment. Likewise, Istitlaa fosters a culture of public participation by enabling citizens, government agencies, and the private sector to contribute their insights and feedback on proposed regulations related to the business environment.​
